Electronic Daily Devotionals

If you would like to "go electronic" for your daily times with God, here are some options for you to select:

1. The American Bible Society has four different devotional services; you can subscribe to any or all of them for free. You will then receive email devotionals.
a. "A Faith For All Seasons:" Every Tuesday, get a Bible reading with reflections, and family activity suggestions.
b. "Seize the Day:" Every Wednesday, get a selection from the writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian who was martyred by the Nazis, with a related Bible passage.
c. "Take a Visual Journey:" Every Thursday, read a Bible passage and see a visual rendering of it.
d. "Daily Scripture Reading:" Every day, get a Bible passage emailed to you.

2. The Presbyterian Church (USA) has several daily reading options:
a. "Daily Lectionary:" A set of readings: two psalms, one Old Testament, one Gospel, and one New Testament letter. You can read them on-line, or you can subscribe to have this emailed to you each day.

b. "Mission Yearbook:" Daily readings about the mission of the Presbyterian Church in the US and around the world.
c. Learn about our faith by reading the daily questions from the new catechism.

3. "The Upper Room" is one of the daily devotional guides that Old Union has available in the back of the church. You can find the readings on-line at http://www.upperroom.org/devotional/, or you can sign up to have them emailed to you at http://www.upperroom.org/devotional/email/

4. The Radio Bible Class (RBC) offers two on-line devotionals
a. "Our Daily Bread" is another daily devotional guide that Old Union offers. Find the readings on-line at http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml
b. "My Utmost for His Highest" is a classic devotional series by Oswald Chambers. Read daily excerpts at http://www.rbc.org/utmost/

5. The Bible on Mp3 websites containing free audio downloads of the Bible, NIV text
